We're kicking off this holiday season like a Christmas star to the eyeball with last year's Santa-Claus-meets-Die-Hard romp, VIOLENT NIGHT.

The film more than lives up to its title and David Harbour sells the heck out of a disillusioned, had-enough Santa Claus who finds himself up against some greedy baddies with guns one Christmas Eve. Our discussion zones in on what the film does well, but also what it could have been, and what its possibilities are for commentary about the Christmas season.
