PS!
After the interview, AJ responded to another list of questions that had been submitted but cut for time. Those question and his answers can be found here:

QUESTION:
How will special feature boxes be implemented in the future (only part of series or released standalone)?
ANSWER:
They will be sort of stand alone and not tied to any specific series

 QUESTION:
Any dream final girls to include in the game?
ANSWER:
I don't even know if Anna Kendrick has ever been a final girl in anything, but I'd love her to be one in OUR Final Girl. Anna, if you're out there, have your people call my people!

QUESTION:
Final Girl has largely avoided religious themes, was the intentional? Will that continue?
ANSWER:
Well the residents of Maple Lane are pretty religous. There are lots of crucifixes on the walls and bibles lying around. So I woudn't necessarily say we've "avoided" religious themes, but it is fair we haven't really leaned too hard into them either. It isn't really anything intentional we are or aren't doing, that is just sort of how it has worked out.

QUESTION:
Any movie recommendations for 14 year old that seems unfazed by everything?
ANSWER:
You see I don't know if I am supposed to recommend something in an attempt to faze them or if they are just telling me they won't be fazed so feel free to recommend anything no matter how inappropriate I feel it might be for a 14 yr old. Well, I am just going to go with Mother (Jennifer Lawrence), which I am not even sure counts as horror, and I certainly don't even think it is that great of a film, but it fazed the hell out of me, so there you go.

QUESTION:
Any FG ideas that you couldn’t get to work and had to be abandoned?
ANSWER:
We have had some starts and stops on some things, but I won't go as far as to say we couldn't get anything to work. I think we can get whatever we want to work if we put enough energy into it. But there are certainly some tough things to crack when designing new content!

QUESTION:
Any additional plans for revisiting all feature films like Carolyn/poltergeist?
ANSWER:
Yes! Check out the updates of our FG S3 KS! We are doing just that!

QUESTION:
Is there a downside of the overwhelming success of FG? Does it limit what VRG can do?
ANSWER:
It is clearly more of a blessing, but in some ways it can sometimes be a curse. People demand a lot of you and mistakes are magnified when you make them on a project of that scale. So it can be nerve wracking and sometimes a bit much to deal with, but we have the right people to overcome any challenges that get thrown our way and so we always come out on the other side better for the experience and with lots of lessons learned!
