Buffy the Vampire Slayer

We continue our tribute series to the late Donald Sutherland with a film that is perhaps more well known for the shadow cast by its sibling TV series. Scripted by Joss Whedon, BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER tells the story of valley girl cheerleader Buffy who learns that she was born destined to rid the world of evil vampires. Sutherland plays her trainer and mentor Merrick in a cast that also features Rutger Hauer, Luke Perry, David Arquette, and a delightfully funny turn from Paul Reubens.
