Episode 198: Halloween 3: The Season of the Witch

First of all, it was October, a rare month for The Fear of God... as Nathan and Reed venture into a brand new mini-series of episodes simply and directly titled #thisishalloween. All month long, we'll be discussing stories not only at the intersection of faith and fear, but also at the intersection of Halloween and Childhood. We start our journey by diving into the first handful of chapters of Ray Bradbury's legendary novel SOMETHING WICKED THIS WAY COMES, before an extended discussion about one of the most infamous horror films ever made - HALLOWEEN 3: SEASON OF THE WITCH. We discuss the film's merits and demerits (including and in spite of its placement as the third installment in the otherwise ongoing story of Michael Myers), but also uncover some pretty interesting ideas at its core about the mysterious combination of technology and the spell it casts over us all.
